When it comes to setting the table for Easter breakfast I like to create an extra colourful display. And this year I found THE best centerpiece I could have asked for to tie the theme together!
I couldn’t resist getting it from TK Maxx, but it did mean that I had little £££ left over to get anything else. So I dug out some of the items we bought and created last year and got creative. Let me show you what I did.
I still had one of these grass mats from The Range, which I cut in half to create some space for the Center Piece. You can find the mats here – they make the perfect runner for your Easter table!
And of course I LOVE my teapot which makes a regular appearance on my Easter table. It’s from a shop called Blond Amsterdam. Unfortunately they no longer deliver to the UK, soooo .. a little trip to Holland may be in order this year to get some more of their range 😉
P.S. Occasionally Etsy have some of their items, so it’s worth keeping an eye out! Like this teapot here.
Do you recognize these little terracotta pots? We made them last year for the name place glitter eggs. Turns out they matched the color scheme this year again exactly!
If you want to add some quick colour, you can make these on a budget! You can check them out here.
The only other thing I spent a bit of money on (or .. if Rob asks .. “I invested in” 😉 .. ) were these neutral placemats from Matalan. I figured they would work with any type of future table scapes too.
My favourite part ( .. well .. apart from the food!)
And here he is … I’m completely obsessed with my Alice in Wonderland Rabbit his year!! I snapped him up at our local TK Maxx.
Sadly I can’t find him on line anywhere, but you should really head over to their website anyway to have a nose! They’ve got SOOOO much colourful Easter stuff (and a lot of it is discounted at the moment too!)
Here’s a look at the whole table together. In all it’s colourful glory.
This was the lull before the storm that was our family ..
Here’s a sneaky selfie on the day. We celebrated Easter early this year as unfortunately we’re unable to spend it all together this year on the day itself.
So .. happy UnEaster everyone! ;), which fits in perfectly with the whole “Alice in Wonderland” rabbit too! Whenever you celebrate it, or whoever you celebrate it with – have a wonderful day!
